The churches of the Mission Valley Missionary Baptist Association express their deepest gratitude
for having been elected to host the 2023 MBA of Texas state messenger meeting in San Antonio, TX
on November 14 & 15, 2023! It is a distinct and tremendous privilege to provide the necessary
accommodations for the messengers. The state meeting serves as a blessed opportunity for brethren in
Christ Jesus to get together in love, fellowship, and the ministry of the gospel.
The 2023 state meeting will be held at Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio Brooks Hotel & Spa,
located at 7610 S New Braunfels Ave, San Antonio, TX 78235. The facility provides a beautiful and
spacious setting for all messengers and guests. As indicated in the name, the hotel has an available spa
for those interested, as well as an onsite restaurant near the meeting space.
The hotel has agreed with the Mission Valley MBA to create a block of (70) rooms for the messengers
at $139.00 per night, for which the room rate may be extended up to (3) days before and after the
Tuesday and Wednesday meetings for those desiring to enjoy their San Antonio stay longer. The hotel is
conveniently located only minutes from downtown San Antonio and a host of surrounding restaurants,
retail stores, and fun activities. Messengers and attendees are humbly requested to first consider
scheduling their stay with Embassy Suites in order to fulfill the required room block number. Rooms
may be booked in advance, starting in December 2022, online or by calling (210) 534-1000 (please inform
the hotel that you are with the 2023 MBA of Texas state meeting).
There are (30) tables available for missionaries and exhibitors, and requests for space are to be

information listed above. Churches providing a Texas exemption verification letter (Form 12-302) and
paying with church funds for attendees' hotel accommodations (check, debit, or credit card in the
church's name) will be exempt from 6% of the hotel occupancy tax.
